Danalogic, widely credited around the world

The Danavox Danalogic is a digital hearing instrument that is widely credited around the world.

Danalogic has over twice the processing power of other instruments in its category, and uses PC-like, software-based digital technology. Thus Danalogic is able to improve upon the sound quality and sound processing capabilities of other instruments, while adding "smart" capabilities of its own.

These include a continually active ("search and destroy") feedback suppression system, which detects feedback before it becomes audible and crushes it with no loss in instrument performance. Danalogic is also available with digital noise reduction, and two-microphone directional amplification, to improve speech understanding in noise. With a soft warning tone, it even informs users of impending battery failure.

Award-winning design

The Danalogic behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing instrument uses the unique shell design first seen in the Danavox Danasound instrument, introduced in 1996.

It was ergonomically designed to fit the V-shaped space between the ear and head, for maximum comfort and discretion. Danavox designers radically altered the traditional placement of hearing instrument components to make it possible. The design also provides naturally improved directional amplification, to help with conversation in noisy surroundings.

Danavox Danalogic and Danasound BTE instruments have won awards and recognition from design authorities around the world:

  • French Foreign Ministry
  • Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry
  • Netherlands Foundation for Good Industrial Design
  • Germany's iF Seal and Red Dot awards.
