The programmable Danasound is Danavox's most advanced non-digital hearing instrument. Danasound instruments use wide dynamic range compression, the industry's strongest answer to most hearing losses. In addition, Danasound allows for knee-point adjustment, and separate compression ratios in three frequency bands, for unparalleled flexibility.

Danasound instruments come with three user programs: a standard amplification setting, telecoil, and a third setting for special situations. Unlike other programmable instruments, Danasound uses soft beeps to identify program settings.
