We have confirmed compatibility of ReSound Smart Hearing aids with iOS 11. You can also find details on Apple device compatibility in description for the ReSound Smart app on the App Store or under 'About the ReSound Smart app' in the app's Settings.

ReSound Smart is compatible with the following Android devices**: 

Please note: Direct stereo streaming, which is available via the iOS platform, is not currently available through Android platforms at this time. Android users can stream stereo audio using the ReSound Phone Clip+ which allows you to connect your ReSound hearing aids to any Bluetooth®-enabled mobile phone.

After initial testing we can confirm that the ReSound Smart app is not currently compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S8. We recommend Smart Hearing aid wearers using the ReSound Smart app do not upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S8 at this time. We apologize to any users who have already upgraded their phone and no longer have access to the app. We are working diligently to resolve this issue.

**All phones must be running either Android KitKat (4.4.2 - 4.4.4), Lollipop (5.0 or higher) or Marshmallow (6.0.1). You can also find details on Android device compatibility in the description for the ReSound Smart app at Google Play or under 'About the ReSound Smart app' in the app's Settings. Please note: hearing aids may need to be updated to the latest firmware to work with the app. This update is available through your hearing care professional.

Each sub variant of the phones listed above, e.g. Galaxy S5 Active or Galaxy S5 Mini, is modified by the local carrier in each country and we cannot guarantee direct compatibility for these. Therefore the app is only available for download on compatible devices.
If you already have one of the sub variants and a working direct connection to your hearing aids, we advise you not to upgrade to Android OS 6.0.1 or later at the moment.

*ReSound LiNX 5, ReSound LiNX TS 5 and ReSound ENZO 5 hearing aids are not MFI-compatible.

†ReSound LiNX, ReSound LiNX2, and ReSound ENZO devices ordered prior to May 2015 may require a firmware update to be compatible with iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. If you encounter pairing issues with the above-mentioned hearing aids and iPhone models, please contact your hearing aid professional to see if a firmware update is necessary.
