Surround sound processor 

At the core of Surround sound by ReSound is the surround sound processor. Like a surround sound system it splits sound streams into bass (low frequencies) and treble (high frequencies) differentiating between the directionality characteristics to provide:

  • Full rich sound quality without distortion, feedback, internal noise and wind noise
  • Optimal speech understanding with improved awareness and ability to locate where sounds are coming from.

No compensation means no noise 

With traditional directionality there is a need for a bass compensation, which generates noise problems. With the surround sound processor there is no need for compensation, because the bass frequencies are delivered seperately, and thus not lost in the first place.

The result is a full, rich sound and unequalled localisation and awareness.

Proven technology 

Surround sound by ReSound has been tested thoroughly and the results speak for themselves. Results show that surround sound processing significantly outperformed both omni-directionality and traditional directionality with low-frequency equalization. 70% of all users preferred Surround sound by ReSound over traditional directionality with low-frequency equalization.
