GN ReSound ouvre une nouvelle usine en Malaisie pour soutenir la croissance de l'entreprise

ReSound a ouvert une nouvelle usine de fabrication et de distribution à Kulaijaya, dans le Johor, en Malaisie. L’installation de 5 000 m² étend la capacité de production mondiale de ReSound et servira également de nouveau centre de distribution pour la région.

ReSound CEO Anders Hedegaard hosted the event and was joined by Malaysian and Danish dignitaries including Danish Ambassador to Malaysia H.E. Mr. Nicolai Ruge and Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Malaysia’s Minister of International Trade and Industry, in addition to a number of GN ReSound global executives and newly-hired employees. The launch event also included a facility tour, product demonstrations and a press conference for members of the media.

ReSound’s expansion into Malaysia represents the latest effort in our ongoing commitment to meeting the growing global demand for innovative hearing solutions. This first-class facility will advance our mission and help us continue to revolutionize what is possible in terms of hearing accessibility,” Anders Hedegaard said.

ReSound’s Johor, Malaysia location was selected after a thorough evaluation of more than a dozen locations around the world. The facility’s daily operations will benefit from its proximity to Singapore’s logistics infrastructure and excellent vendor and support relationships with a number of local area businesses. More than one hundred employees have been hired to-date. The facility has the potential to support approximately 450 jobs at full capacity.

ReSound also maintains manufacturing and distribution facilities in China, the UK, Spain, and R&D and manufacturing facilities in Denmark and the United States.
