Developed by the National Acoustic Laboratories (NAL), NAL-NL3 represents the next generation of hearing aid prescription formulas, designed for evidence-based, precise fittings.
With NAL-NL3 now available within new fitting software from GN, hearing care professionals can access a widely recognized gold standard in audiology. This advanced prescription formula leverages sophisticated AI insights and real-world user feedback, enabling highly precise and personalised hearing outcomes with greater consistency and confidence. GN also offers enhanced AutoREM (Real-Ear Measurement) to ensure the hearing aid's sound output precisely matches the user's specific ear acoustics for a more natural and comfortable listening experience.

GN’s new fitting software with NAL-NL3 will be available worldwide starting March 11, 2026 via a global software release of ReSound Smart Fit™ 2.3.1, Beltone Solus Max™ 2.3.1 and Hearing Australia Fitware 2.3.1.
