Stream sound to your wireless hearing aids

Direct audio streaming on iOS

With ReSound wireless hearing aids you can connect directly with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. This enables you to stream phone calls, audiobooks and music directly to your hearing aids.

Streaming Made for iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

When your hearing aids are paired with any of the compatible MFi devices listed below, direct sound streaming and basic hearing aid adjustments are natively integrated and available directly from iOS.

Audio streaming on Android

Direct stereo streaming from Android is available for the following ReSound hearing aids:

ReSound LiNX Quattro

Note: Requires minimum Android 10, and Android Streaming to Hearing aids has been enabled by the phone manufacturer. 

For upgrading users it may require a new pairing to work. Please do the following:
1. Ensure your hearing aid software is version 1.0043.4300 or later using Hearing aid software updates in My ReSound menu
2. Go to the Android Bluetooth menu and unpair all paired hearing aids
Important: do NOT pair new devices in the Android Bluetooth menu
3. Return to the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair again

For users with Android phone that does not support direct audio streaming or other ReSound hearing aids, audio can be streamed by using the Resound Phone Clip+ which allows you to connect your ReSound hearing aids to any mobile phone with Bluetooth® wireless connectivity.

 

Streaming Android

For streaming to an Android device, use the ReSound Phone Clip+. Compatibility: Any Bluetooth v.2.0 Android device.

The app is available for download on all Android devices, but the devices mentioned above have verified compatibility. Your Android mobile device must run minimum Android OS version 5.0 (Lollipop) or later." The app is optimised for smartphones with screen resolution 1080x1920 pixels. Other screen resolutions may not show app screens optimally.

The app is only available for download on the devices mentioned above. Each sub variant of the phones listed above, e.g. Galaxy S5 Active or Galaxy S5 mini, is modified by the local carrier in each country and we cannot guarantee direct compatibility for these.

If you already have one of the sub variants and a working direct connection to your hearing aids, we advise you not to upgrade to Android OS 6.0.1 or later at the moment. We recommend that your Android mobile device runs Android OS version 5.0 - Lollipop or later.

Your hearing aids may need to be updated to the latest firmware to work with the app. This update can be done by your hearing care professional.

If your ReSound hearing aids or your smartphone is not compatible with the ReSound Smart 3D or ReSound Smart app, use the ReSound Control app in connection with a ReSound Phone Clip+

Compatibility: Android devices running OS 2.3.5 or later and Bluetooth v. 2.0. Functionality verified on selected devices from HTC, Huawei, LG, Motorola, Samsung and Sony. 

What's a smart bimodal hearing solution?

Together with Cochlear we offer the first and only smart bimodal solution that’s Made for iPhone.

This means that with a Cochlear™ Nucleus 7® Sound Processor and a compatible ReSound LiNX Quattro, ReSound LiNX 3D or ReSound ENZO 3D hearing aid*, you can control your settings and stream sound directly to both ears from a compatible MFi device.

*Only BTE and RIE models support a bimodal solution

 

Together with Cochlear we also offer the first smart bimodal solution that enables direct audio streaming from compatible Android phones.

This means that with a Cochlear™ Nucleus 7® Sound Processor and a ReSound LiNX Quattro hearing aid, you can control your settings and stream sound directly from Android devices running on Android version 10 and Bluetooth 5.0.
