Made for iPhone Hearing Aids

At a time when human connection has never been more important, making communication as easy as possible for people with hearing loss is key. In 2013, ReSound introduced the first Made for iPhone hearing aids that offered streaming directly from iPhone and iPad. From December, we will take things to the next level.

Made for iPhone Hands-Free Calls (From December 2021)

Great news: iPhone and iPad users can soon use ReSound ONE™ hearing aids as a hands-free headset to talk to family and friends.
ReSound ONE hearing aid users will be able to take hands-free phone and FaceTime calls from iPhone and iPad* and answer calls with just a tap on their hearing aids. They can enjoy conversations with outstanding sound quality - all without ever having to take their device out of their pocket. This new hands-free capability will be available to ReSound ONE users with a free software update coming in December 2021.
The hands-free capability unleashes an entirely new capability for ReSound ONE hearing aids to support the bi-directional streaming of iPhone and iPad audio, such as phone calls, FaceTime calls, music, videos, navigation, Find My alerts, and much more.

*ReSound ONE hands-free calls are compatible with iPhone 11 or newer, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation), iPad Air (4th generation), and iPad mini (6th generation) with iOS 15.1 or newer.

Sivu testimonial

Singer-songwriter Sivu lives with hearing loss. He’s tried his ReSound ONE hearing aids with the hands-free technology.

“Like everyone else I use my iPhone a lot to keep in touch with family and friends that I can’t see in person. With this new technology, it makes it a lot easier to call people without having to stop what I’m doing and hold my phone to talk. I don’t have to put everything down, which has proved useful in a recording studio environment. I can use my iPhone exactly the same way as I did before my hearing deteriorated which is extremely important to me.”
