Jenn Schumacher, AuD, is an audiologist and medical writer with over a decade of experience in the hearing aid industry.

Dr. Jenn joined GN Hearing in 2014. Her current focus is on creating communications related to hearing aids and audiology for current and potential hearing aid users, hearing care professionals, and physicians.

She has prior experience in conducting hearing aid research and clinical trials, in fitting software development and with diagnostic audiology and hearing aid fittings in hospital clinics.

Dr. Jenn received both her BA in Linguistics and her AuD at Ohio State University.

Laurel Christensen

Laurel Christensen, Ph.D.

Chief Audiology Officer, GN Hearing

Dr. Laurel Christensen leads Global Audiology for GN Hearing, which is part of the Research and Development department based in Ballerup, Denmark.

Global Audiology is responsible for all GN Hearing’s corporate audiology activities related to new product development and launch including clinical trials, regulatory activities, audiology support to product marketing, and training and education to subsidiaries world-wide.

Dr. Christensen holds an adjunct faculty appointment at Northwestern University in Chicago. Prior to joining GN, she was an Associate Professor at LSU Medical Center/Kresge Hearing Research Laboratory, and she was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Etymotic Research.

She served as an Associate Editor for both Trends in Amplification and the Journal of Speech and Hearing Research. She was a member of the Executive Board of the American Auditory Society from 2004 to 2011. She is a current member of the advisory board for the Au.D. program at Rush University. She has presented well over 250 talks around the world mainly on hearing aid signal processing and has many publications including book chapters on hearing aid technology.

In 2012, Dr. Christensen received the Leader of the Year award from GN Hearing for her outstanding contributions to the company and in 2015, she received the Distinguished Alumna Award from the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Indiana University where she received both her M.S. and Ph.D. Finally, in 2022, she received special recognition from GN Hearing for her Eminent Customer Mindset.

Megan Quilter

Megan Quilter, Au.D

Lead Audiologist, External Relations, GN Hearing

Megan Quilter, Au.D is a Lead Audiologist with GN Hearing Global Audiology team and primarily focuses on research, adult and pediatric amplification and cochlear implants.

Her background includes clinical adult and pediatrics, neuro-vestibular audiology, amplification, and pediatric and adult equipment manufacturing.

Dr. Quilter effectively communicates with a variety of levels of key opinion leaders, customers, colleagues, and patients. Dr. Quilter currently holds a Doctorate of Audiology and resides in Chicago, Illinois.
